Children Care and Learning
We welcome children in worship and many other aspects of congregational life. However, we do have a nursery available during our Sunday worship services for children through age 3. The nursery is staffed by trained, caring workers. Parents are also welcome to take their children into our lobby area from which the worship service can still be observed through the glass doors and heard through a speaker. Childcare is also available during some of our other functions, such as Congregational Meetings, but you would need to check with the church office or event leader ahead of time.
On Sunday mornings from September through May at 9:40 AM (check the Ministry Groups Calendar for the regular and summer schedules). We provide age appropriate instruction for preschool through high school students.
We begin the hour with an introductory children's worship time, focusing on the Scripture lesson for the day. This involves singing, prayer and special expression that supports the theme.
This team coordinates many children's programs. Through these programs we strive to share the love of Jesus and nurture faith in young learners.
We help with events such as Advent night, Mid-week Lenten program, Harvest Festival, Summer Sunday Sunday, and Teacher Trainings.
We are always open to new ideas and suggestions.
If you have children and they love music, check out the Music Ministry page. There are many opportunities for your children to express themselves musically.
